Folk Art and Americana

Fabulous Americana original painted seachest has a green outside with pinwheels on the top. The interior lid has the best americana red, white, and blue painted heart with pinwheels. There are carved side beckets with twisted handles. A wonderful painted seachest.

Fine Antique Folk Art Carved Early American Eagle Cane Head with stylized axe end. Carved on the top Chicopee, Mass. Measures 7" long. Click on image for more views.

Wonderful Early American hinged box features carved applied acorns, hearts, vines and leaves with decorative half turns all around. Has a heart/cross shaped key hole plate. Measures 12" x 8 1/2" x 4 1/4" tall. All in very pleasing condition with original age and patina.

Wonderful Folk Art Fishing Creel by Maine Carver Emile Robichaud of Medway. He is most noted for his relief carved creels with great paint.
